I have lived in several places in India and the U.S. I was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and did my school in Ajmer St. Anselm's), Bombay (1971-1975) and Dehradun (1975-76). Then I studied Mathematics at Hindu College, University of Delhi (1981-84), and Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (1984-86). After working for a few months at NIIT, Delhi, I went to the University of Pennsylvania for a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences (now OPIM) at The Wharton School of Business (1986-89). I spent a wonderful decade in paradise - Monterey, CA, with some summers in Berlin and Maastricht. After spending a few years in Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and State College) I returned to California in Summer 2003.
I have nice memories from all of these places, and would love to hear from long-lost friends, teachers, students, etc.
